On our way to the north of Chile we stopped at the famous Valle del Elqi. Famous, not really, but it is known for 2 main reasons: the production of Pisco (the chilean national drink) and the strong alien activity (probably both are linked somehow).
We enjoyed the beautiful town of Vicuna for two days in our family owned bed and breakfast held by a sweet old couple, both over 80, with avocados hanging from the trees and amazing grapes.
We also decided to hunt some extra terrestrial activity and took an amazing star observation tour with a french astrophysicist, giving us crispy details about our universe and the newest findings. However, that night ET was a bit shy and did not show up.
A very nice and calm place, perfect for charging our batteries.
