We took the opportunity to be in one of the best place of the world for diving to participate to an “open water” course. The course was a right mix between theory in the classroom and practice in the 28°C Caribbean sea. We had great fun, even though it was tough to stay disciplined enough for going diving at 7 in the morning when you are on a party island!
The practice was super fun, especially when you have the chance to evolve in the 2nd biggest coral reef of the world. We finally got certificated the 4th day, with a bit of a competition between Christine and I. Even though she got one of the best score of the class 49/50, I did not let her take the palm.
After the course we had two more fun dives where we could see a lot of beautiful creatures such as a huge murrain, a lion fish and even the slowest swimmer of the ocean: the sea horse.
Amazing time, we are looking forward for our next dives!
